faq
What is the minimum order of feed do I have to order for bulk delivery?
Our bulk truck can deliver as little as 2 tons or as much as 18 tons in one load.
What distance does Valley Feed Deliver Kawmix Feeds?
We currently do not have a set delivery range. However, pricing depends on mileage. The farther we must travel from our mill, the higher the delivery cost will be.
What Kawmix Feeds do we deliver?
We can deliver any pelleted feed or grain product. However, we cannot deliver feeds blended with liquid molasses, also known as “sweet feeds.”
What is the lead time on a bulk delivery order?
Our schedule typically runs about one week out, and we recommend planning accordingly. For example, if you need to be fed by the 7th of the month, you should plan to place your order no later than the 1st of the month. More lead time is always better.
What Containers will the Kawmix Truck Fill?
Just about anything you have! Our large but nimble truck design allows us to fill everything from totes and sacks to large hoppers and creep feeders. Just make sure you have enough space for your total order. Keep in mind that your containers must be accessible from the established roads or pathways. Our truck weighs roughly 27,000 pounds empty so we can’t drive it through the mud!
